Happy Birthday Sammie

It is so hard to believe that my little Sam is now 6 years old!! Donna sent me this picture of Sammie eating cake on her first birthday. Here is Sammie 5 years later on her 6th birthday.

Six things about Sam....

1. She loves horses!

2. She loves princesses, dress-up, sparkly things and all things girly.

3. She is loving and happy.

4. She loves to draw.

5. She loves to play with her My Little Pony and Barbie toys.

6. She loves Kindergarten and playing with friends

( oh and a bonus that she told me yesterday, " Mommy, I love going shopping" )

We had a busy weekend. We decorated her door on her birthday so when she woke up she would see it. ( Thank you Layle Koncar for that great idea!)

We went to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to turn Sammie into a Disney Princess. It was a lot of fun. (See the finished princess above)

She said, "mommy, I love being fancy". She sure loved that bling ring. After her princess transformation we met my parents for dinner at the rainforest cafe. It was a lot of fun, then we went back to Disneyland to ride some rides. ( my parents went to my house instead)

The next morning, Sammie had a horseback riding lesson and then we went to my Nana's house for lunch. My Nana is going to turn 96 years old on Feb 26th. She is amazing and is 90 years older than Sammie. We are having a surprise party for her in a couple of weeks.

On Valentine's day we had Sammie's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was great. She loved it and was dressed up in her Disney princess dress again. ( i figured it would be good to get as much wear out of it!) LOL! Valentine's day 2004 was the day we 1st brought Sammie home from the hospital when she was born. Gosh, time really flies!

What a busy weekend we had celebrating with family and friends. Here are some other fun pics.

Here is the birthday cake we made at home. She had a pretty Ariel cake at her party but she helped make and decorate this one so it is special.

My dog is so sweet and simple she will pose and let me take pictures.

You can also see the layout I made with Sammie's princess picture. I haven't had much time to scrap lately and I am really missing it. February is always a super busy month. We have a lot of birthdays to celebrate.

Random stuff

Keeping true to my blog title, here are a few pictures of random things i wanted to share. This is my new friend Julie who I met at CHA but have known her online. She is a very cool chick! We had a lot of fun hanging out at her booth and laughing. I feel like I have known her forever! She has a great challenge blog, stop by and check it out! My Little Shoebox is one of my favorite companies of all time.. Look how cute their new stuff is.. oooohhh... I can't wait to get my hands on this stuff!!

Now here we have some of Sammie's finest... This is a horse wedding. She arranged the horses on the sides to watch the wedding. Yep, now you have seen everything!

Crazy weather we are having. Lots of rain. Bummer.

Sammie is going to be 6 years old on Friday. I can't believe it. Time goes way too fast!! She is very excited to be 6 and has been counting down the days since January. We had to change the calendar 8 days early so she could have it be February, and that way "we wouldn't have to change the calendar again" for a while! LOL!
